WMECo Partners with ReGreen Springfield to Replace Neighborhood Trees

Re-planting celebrates putting the “Right Tree in the Right Place”


Springfield, Mass. (April 21, 2014) – WMECo and ReGreen Springfield are teaming-up, replacing diseased and dying trees that had to be removed from the densely populated Wilmont Street Neighborhood. Close to 30 carefully chosen species of shade and ornamental trees will soon line the street thanks to ReGreen Springfield, with support from WMECo and the city.
