Paul Ramsey is Vice President – Energy Delivery

Manchester, NH January 22, 2009****Bedford, NH resident Paul E. Ramsey has been named Vice President – Energy Delivery by Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH). In his new role, Ramsey, a 33-year veteran of PSNH, will be responsible for oversight of planning, engineering, construction and maintenance of the company’s electrical distribution system, which stretches more than 14,000 miles.

“Paul has proven time and again to be a highly effective leader,” noted Gary Long, PSNH president and chief operating officer. “His knowledge and skills will be incredibly useful as the company develops and implements strategies to maintain reliable and economic service to our growing customer base.”

A New Hampshire native, Ramsey previously led the PSNH Customer Service operations as a vice president, and was responsible for PSNH’s Marketing, Economic Development, Conservation and Load Management, Facilities, Security, and Meter Reading functional areas. In 2006, Ramsey took on a leadership role in the companywide Customer Services Integration project for Northeast Utilities (NU), PSNH’s parent corporation. The project included the implementation of a new customer information system for NU’s 2.1 million customers.

Ramsey is currently vice chair of the board of directors of the Granite State Credit Union, treasurer of Neighbor Helping Neighbor, and a member of the board of directors of the New Hampshire Institute of Art and the New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association. He is a graduate of Leadership Greater Manchester and Leadership New Hampshire. He is also a VIP volunteer for Easter Seals New Hampshire and serves on the New Hampshire 2-1-1 advisory council.
